Letter to Alumnae

When I was growing up, I watched my mother, an Alpha Delta Pi, hang out with her sorority sisters and talk to me about the lifelong friends she had made through being in a sorority. I couldn’t wait until I was in college and could join sorority as well. Who wouldn’t want to make lifelong friends? Now that I am here, I try to remain very active not only in our chapter, but on the national level. Previously, I have served as Ritual Chair and the Emerald Boutique Ambassador. I also am currently the collegiate member on the National Governing Documents Committee.

Looking at how other chapters and alumnae groups around the country function, I am hoping to shape this year’s alumnae experience around the four pillars of sorority. Through offering programming that includes our alumnae in every aspect of the sisterhood they loved so dearly in college life, I aim to bring the local AST members of NYC and our Delta Phi chapter closer.

Even if you haven’t been to an AST event since you left college, I would love for you to join us and re-anchor yourself!

                                   Tau Love & Mine,

Amanda Gelbart, Director of Collegiate-Alumnae Engagement
